Skales Warns Against EFCC Late-Night Raids, Urges Vigilance

Nigerian singer Skales has raised concerns over the recent resurgence of late-night raids by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). He took to social media, advising Nigerians to be cautious and prepared by installing surveillance cameras and avoiding fraudulent activities. This advice comes after his own experience in October when EFCC agents allegedly raided his home, breaking through the back door and traumatizing his family. Skales described how the agents, armed with guns and lacking proper identification, subjected him and his family to severe distressed.In his message, Skales emphasized the importance of protecting oneself and complying with the law, stating, "Buy cameras, activate them, and record everything. And most importantly, don’t do fraud.” His experience with the EFCC raid left him critical of their operational methods, particularly the alleged intimidation and lack of transparency involved.
