It all started when Eedris Abdulkareem made some claims during a podcast interview. He alleged that P-Square, along with other Nigerian artists, including himself, were assaulted by the American rapper 50 Cent and his crew at a concert held at the Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagos back in 2004. According to Eedris, they were "flogged and chased" out of the backstage area.

However, Rudeboy quickly refuted these claims, setting the record straight during an Instagram live session with his fans. He clarified that P-Square never actually attended the said concert. The reason behind their absence was the inability of the organizers to reach a mutually agreeable agreement on the booking fees. Rudeboy emphasized that P-Square was never even billed for that particular concert.

In fact, Rudeboy went on to accuse Eedris Abdulkareem of betraying Nigerian artists by accepting what he called "peanuts" from the show organizers after they had already agreed on more lucrative performance fees. Rudeboy expressed his disappointment, stating that while P-Square refused the low offer, Eedris accepted it and then expected VIP treatment. He even challenged Eedris, saying that the alleged assault by 50 Cent's crew didn't happen as he claimed.

To support his stance, Rudeboy mentioned that other respected artists like Daddy Showkey and Tony Tetuila have also come forward to back up his version of events. They have openly stated that Eedris is not being truthful in his claims. Rudeboy concluded by calling out Eedris as a liar and reaffirming that P-Square never participated in the controversial concert.
