In a shocking turn of events, Nigerian rapper Oladips has accused Grammy-winning superstar Wizkid of stealing his lyrics without permission. Oladips took to his Instagram account to share evidence of the alleged theft, claiming that Wizkid sampled parts of his song "Ajala Travel Remix" in his recent collaboration with Asake, "MMS".
The rapper shared screenshots of the lyrics from both songs, highlighting the striking similarities between the two. While some fans brushed off the issue, saying that sampling is a common practice in music, Oladips insisted that proper acknowledgement is necessary.
He emphasized that unauthorized sampling is unacceptable, stating, "It's normal if you acknowledge the source! No be say dem go dey pretend like say dem no know you but come dey bite your lyrics for corner."
Wizkid has yet to respond to the allegations, leaving fans and industry insiders eagerly awaiting his reaction.
