A funeral arrangement banner for late veteran actor John Ikechukwu Okafor, popularly known as Mr. Ibu, has recently surfaced on the internet. The Gistreel broke the news of his passing on March 2nd, 2024, after a protracted health struggle and amputation of his leg. He was aged 63 years. According to a statement released by his family, his remains will be buried in his hometown of Amuri, in the Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State, on June 25th, 2024. This will be followed by a unique march between Nollywood and Rangers International on June 26th, 2024. His Candlelight Procession will then take place on the 27th of June, 2024. On June 28th, 2024, there will be a Christian wake service at Eziokwe Amuri, Enugu State. The next day, his body will be taken from the Eastern Nigerian Medical Center to his birthplace for burial. The incident has caused a buzz on the internet, and fans are already planning to pay their respects to the late actor.
