Past BBNaija winners didn’t deserve to win, voters are one-track minded – Pere

In a recent episode of Celebrity Quickies, Pere Egbi, a BBNaija reality show personality, voiced his opinion on previous winners of the show. He suggested that their victories were based more on emotional voting rather than rational decision-making by Nigerians.

Pere went on to say that if the reality show had taken place in South Africa or America, the winners might have been different. Despite participating in the show twice himself, during the 'Shine Ya Eye' season in 2021 and the All Stars edition in 2023, Pere stated that he would decline the opportunity to appear on the show again.

Reflecting on his experience in the Big Brother Naija house, Pere described it as a rollercoaster ride with various encounters and valuable lessons. However, he expressed his belief that Nigerians are not ready for reality TV, suggesting that the voting patterns of Nigerian viewers, especially in Big Brother, tend to be one-track-minded.
