The clash began when ATL Jacob claimed on a podcast that Tems initially resisted clearing her sample on Future's 'Wait For U,' a song that featured her and Drake.
ATL Jacob, the producer of the track, stated that Future had to intervene and convince Drake to use his relationship with Tems to secure her approval for the sample. This assertion sparked backlash on social media, leading Tems and her manager to refute the claim.
Responding to the criticism, ATL Jacob took to X to defend himself, stating, "Despite all the negativity coming my way...I received a $100,000 wire transfer for Tems and her team. Show me one instance where I spoke ill of her.
Tems, however, countered his statement by offering ATL Jacob $1 million if he would refrain from "spreading falsehoods." She firmly stated, "This isn't about negativity. Stop lying. I'll give you 1 million.
