The issue began when Ivy took to social media to clear her name from the allegations that she was involved in someone's separation or divorce. In a recent Instagram story, Rudeboy addressed the notion that all divorces are bad and that people need someone to blame for entertainment. He then asked netizens to choose a name for his girlfriend, either Ifeoma Nonso or Ify Nonso. 
This statement has sparked controversies on social media and people have been taking sides, some defending Rudeboy and Ivy, and others accusing them of being dishonest.
