Libya's national team captain, Feisal Al-Badri, has expressed confidence ahead of their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against the Super Eagles in Uyo. Despite being considered underdogs, with no victories yet in the qualifying series, Al-Badri believes the Mediterranean Knights can secure their first win.

Speaking at a press conference on Thursday, the captain emphasized their determination to triumph against Nigeria, who are regarded as one of Africa's strongest teams. "We're here to win," Al-Badri declared. "We know we’re up against the strongest team in Africa, but we came here to win."

The match is set to be a key clash in Group D of the qualifiers, with both teams eager to make their mark.
