Seyi Law, the Nigerian actor and comedian. In a recent post on his X handle, Seyi Law expressed his unwavering support for President Bola Tinubu, even in the face of economic hardship in the country.

Seyi Law likened the current economic challenges in Nigeria to the biblical wilderness experience of the Israelites. He stated that he would rather stick with "a Moses through the wilderness to Canaan" than enjoy temporary pleasures in a state of slavery, at the expense of his children's future.

In his post, Seyi Law also highlighted the need for effective communication of government agendas, efforts, and actions by government agencies. He emphasized that while some Nigerians may spread negativity and seek immediate gratification, it is important for citizens to make demands from their state governments rather than relying solely on the Federal Government for everything.

Seyi Law acknowledged that it might be easy for the government to please the masses by reverting to full subsidy on fuel and exchange rates. However, he believes that it is more beneficial to reset, rebuild, and sustain the future of Nigeria, rather than living in a better present that is built on borrowed resources.

Despite facing criticism for his support of Tinubu's administration amidst the economic crunch, Seyi Law remained steadfast in his stance. He stated that if another election were held tomorrow, he would still vote for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
