The Nigerian public is falling in love with Uriel Oputa after she announced her decision to take in a baby girl who was discovered by Kogi State riverbank.
A caretaker rescued the crying infant from Niger Bridge Ajaokuta when he found her dressed in baby clothes and a local fabric with few random objects by her side. Community members now protect the abandoned baby according to Omera Ugbede Opaluwa who posted the video online until local authorities provide direction. Uriel sought adoption of the child through an emotional online request. “Pls let me have her. Currently she wrote that the baby would never lack food while she made a promise to care for it in her loving home forever.
