Nigerian nightlife entrepreneur Pascal Okechukwu, better known as Cubana Chief Priest, has raised concerns over an alleged threat to his family, claiming that singer Burna Boy is responsible. Chief Priest accused Burna Boy of sharing a video on Instagram that appeared to capture his family residence in Ikoyi, Lagos.
The socialite expressed his fears about the video, which included an eye emoji in its caption, suggesting it implied surveillance or monitoring. He stated that he has alerted the Nigeria Police Force about the potential danger posed to his loved ones. Reacting to the incident, Cubana Chief Priest reposted the video on his own social media and addressed Burna Boy directly:
"This is my neighborhood in Ikoyi. You drove past my house recording with an eye symbol. Are you watching me to harm me or abduct my family? This is childish behavior. A dog that bites doesn’t bark. I’m from Aba—we fight to the end. If you cross my lane, your men will fall. Let nothing happen to my family. Nigeria Police Force has all the intel, and I’m ready."
The feud between the two has been escalating on social media, with Cubana Chief Priest frequently responding to what he perceives as subtle digs from Burna Boy. In one of his posts, the nightlife mogul even alleged that Burna Boy had questionable dealings with American music executive Diddy in his quest to secure a Grammy Award. The tension between the two public figures has sparked widespread reactions online, with fans and observers urging for the matter to be resolved amicably.
