Controversial musician Habeeb Okikiola, known as Portable, has been apprehended by the Lagos State Police Command in Lagos, Nigeria. According to sources, the arrest was due to the singer's alleged failure to pay off his debt after purchasing a G-Wagon from a local car dealer. Portable is said to have paid only N13 million for a vehicle worth N27 million, leaving a balance of N14 million. The car dealer reportedly lodged a police complaint, leading to the arrest of the artist. When reached for confirmation, Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer Benjamin Hundeyin affirmed the arrest.
