Grammy-nominated Afrobeats sensation, Ayra Starr, is set to dazzle audiences on the big screen with her acting debut in Prime Video's original romantic comedy, 'Christmas In Lagos'. The 22-year-old songstress joins an all-star cast, including Teniola A. Aladese, Shalom C. Obiago, Rayxia Ojo, Shaffy Bello, and Adekunle Gold.
Directed by Jadesola Osiberu, the film follows Fiyin (Aladese), a recently heartbroken woman who discovers her best friend, Elo (Obiago), may be the love of her life. Filmed in Lagos, 'Christmas In Lagos' promises to be a captivating holiday treat.
Osiberu praised Ayra Starr's fearless energy, stating, "She represents what it means to be young, female, daring, brave, and unapologetically herself."
