A recent interaction between the Nigerian musician and a social media user has been making the rounds online. The latter urged Skales to publicly disrespect his colleague, Burna Boy, in order to stay relevant. 
However, Skales refused to take part in such fan base battles and defended his stance by stating that Burna Boy is his brother and deserves all the success. He further claimed that he is pushing kindness this year, and will not let negative comments affect him.
This is a reminder that maintaining respect and support for our fellow musicians is crucial in building a positive music industry.
