Seun Kuti, the afrobeat singer who received a Grammy nomination, has recently voiced his concerns about the behavior of the military in Nigeria. In response to an incident where soldiers insulted Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu over the arrest of a fellow soldier for a traffic violation, Kuti urged the government to take decisive action to prevent further issues.
Kuti emphasized that if the military's actions are not addressed, it could have negative consequences not only for civilians but also for politicians. He also criticized the soldiers for threatening a social media influencer who supported the governor's actions, highlighting the military's tendency to target civilians while avoiding confrontation with terrorists.
