Nigerian music scene heats up again as Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rudeboy, claims that his twin brother and ex-bandmate, Peter Okoye (Mr P), has allegedly stolen his song. Following the group’s recent split earlier this year, Mr P dropped a new single titled “Winning,” which, according to Rudeboy, was his original creation.

In a fiery Instagram post, Rudeboy alleged that he had written and recorded “Winning” with a particular producer before the track mysteriously ended up with his twin. The singer expressed his frustration, noting that his brother's version closely mirrors his own, both in lyrics and production style.

Rudeboy didn’t hold back, also addressing the duo’s management team. He revealed that he had previously submitted six songs to the management for review, including “Winning,” which he intended to release on his album next year. He questioned why the song was re-recorded word-for-word, calling out the producer and expressing disappointment over what he calls an “unfair takeover.”

In his Instagram story, Rudeboy sent a warning to both the management and the producer. “If I hear any song I sang alone get released, I’ll drop the original version myself!” he wrote.

The talented twin brothers, once united as PSquare, have had a history of disputes, but this recent incident marks a new chapter in their ongoing creative differences. With tensions running high, fans are eager to see how this plays out and if Rudeboy’s original track will soon be released.
