Former BBNaija star and entrepreneur, Anita Akide aka Tacha, has once again set social media buzzing after sharing her bold thoughts on relationships, marriage, and life abroad.
Speaking on The Podcast Network on YouTube, the outspoken reality TV star advised young women not to rush into commitments, stressing that it’s smarter to explore their options before settling down.
In her words:
“You need three other boyfriends in your life… I’m not saying to sleep with all the boyfriends. But at least… you just never really know.”
Tacha further encouraged women to stay single until marriage, warning that a boyfriend should never block the way of a potential husband.
“Every girl should be single till they’re actually married… Don’t let your boyfriend stop you from meeting your husband.”
On a deeper note, she highlighted how society places different standards on men and women, insisting that ladies need to be more strategic in love.
Beyond relationships, Tacha also got real about the Japa struggle. According to her, while Nigeria is tough, life abroad can be even harder.
“As much as it’s hard here in Nigeria, it’s even harder abroad, honestly… A lot of people abroad do not want to come back because people will say they failed. But the truth is, many are lonely and under pressure to look successful online.”
She shared how her own luggage got stolen in Paris, using it as an example of how harsh reality abroad can be compared to the rosy image people post on social media. For Tacha, Nigeria still has priceless advantages:
“You can go to your junction and say, ‘Mama Ki, give me something of 7,000, I’ll pay you later.’ Abroad, you can’t try that one. Honestly, there’s more to be happy about here than in the UK.” Click here to watch
